After you’ve shopped at all the Village of Albany’s garage sales on October 12th, there will be the annual St. Pat’s Catholic Church Spaghetti Supper from 4-7PM! Certainly you will be too tired to cook, so please consider stopping by for dinner or getting carryout. Donations for dinner: $13 / Adults; $5 / children 5-12 years old; under 5 years old are Free. Get ready, because it’s time to clean out your closets, and cupboards, and garages, and basements for the annual Albany Village Wide Garage Sales! This fall’s garage sales are planned for Saturday, October 12th from 8:00AM to 2PM. A List will be available Friday, October 11th at the Shell gas station. If you would like to sign-up to have your address and items for sale advertised on the List, please call Chelsi by Monday, October 7th. We would like to invite everyone in the community to the ACSG’s first annual Free Family Fun Day!!! This event is scheduled for August 17th from 1PM-3:30PM @ Albany Village Park. Plan on fun for the whole family at the park. The ACSG is providing everyone with plenty of games, ice cream, face painting, bubbles and an inflatable slide. Why not get out to enjoy a day in the park with friends and family that won’t cost you anything? See you there!

If you are a veteran and interested in getting together with fellow veterans, please come join the Hanson-Kennedy American Legion Post #1079. The members meet the first Thursday of every month at 7PM at the American Legion located at 401 S Church St, Albany, IL 61230. Our Post #1079 is currently looking for new members to join. We are hoping to grow in order to continue being a staple amongst our community of Albany. Members must have served in the military, been a part of the Reserves or the National Guard.
